This site developed in 2008 has grown into a valuable marketplace tool for the Harness Racing industry in Australasia.
The owners of the site are the Robinson family of Hokitika, New Zealand. Rhett and Liz along with daughters Fiona and Olivia, shall continue its growth along with meeting the needs of the industry.
Rhett and Fiona have been heavily involved in breeding and racing since 1990 - forming Aird-Righ Bloodstock Ltd in 1996. In that time, over 30 yearlings have gone through the sales ring under the guidance of David Shadbolt at Broadfield Lodge.
From Happy Franco (5wins) in 1994, to others of note like Tee Pee Village (17 wins), Cash Atom (12 wins), Trouble Rulz (8 wins), Went Motoring (4 wins), CC's Mademoiselle (2 wins, 2nd 2008 3y Fillies Sales Series Final, Nevele Heat win), Indy Village (11 wins), She's Madonna (winner 3y Fillies sales cons) etc.
They are currently breeding from four much loved mares that go between Broadfield Lodge and Wai Eyre Farm in Canterbury.
The racing team is safely in the hands of Robbie and Carla Holmes at Balcairn, with a 3 year old Courage Under Fire filly currently in work- City Chic.
Pride and joy Indy Village after winning 7 in NZ with Robbie Holmes now being raced at Menangle with trainer David Thorn.
Fiona, along with sister Olivia and father Rhett, are thrilled to have the opportunity to operate this site and be of a service to all harness racing enthusiasts.
It will continue to offer the industry the monthly “Silent Broodmare Auctions” with both New Zealand and Australian sections, and you can also place any stock in the “Fixed Price” sections that allow you to set your price and reach a growing audience of prospective buyers worldwide.
